While Dylan and I were up in Vancouver, we decided to spend quite a bit of time in Whistler. When we originally went North of Vancouver, we visited Brandywine falls. But because we spent close to three hours there, we only saw Whistler for about 2 hours and were unable to experience the Peak to Peak Gondola. After spending Saturday riding bikes around the city, eating good food, and watching the 9pm canon go off, we decided to head back to Whistler for a full day of adventure on Sunday.

We wanted to get the most out of our day, so we left Vancouver around 8am, stopped at Tim Horton's, then bought our pass up to the mountain. We purchased a season pass for the gondola 360 experience because it was only $10 more than the day pass and we hope it will encourage us to go back up again before the summer is over. The peak to peak experience is absolutely amazing. Besides the legendary "peak to peak" gondola, which stretches from one peak to another and has glass floors, but there were also 5+ other chairlifts that took you all around the mountain. This was like an outdoor amusement park for us! We went up all the chairlifts we could and the views were just incredible! Each chair offered different views and environments. There was one lift that took us to a viewing of black tooth (I think?) and another that took us to a glacier where we could watch all of the skiers and snowboarders. We spent around 8 hours exploring the region, but know we have to come back to finish some hikes. We were really focused on taking amazing pictures. We took numerous shots on the lifts, climbing on rocks, birds, mountains, lakes, skiers, etc. There was so much to do and we even got a little sun burned from the day. We cannot wait to visit again!

Some of our favorite places we ate at were:

-Freshslice (we got this meat and garlic sauce pizza)

-Sushigo (We got shrimp tempura and avocado+salmon sushi (so cheap too!))

-Earl's (I like their brunch-egg sandwich. Dylan got chicken tacos)

-Tim Horton's (Canadian fast food chain-good donuts and coffee)

-Urban Fare (Great coffee!! and hot food section/also a grocery store)

I will be staying in a hostel called Samesun next weekend with my brother's! I can't wait to show them around and enjoy Canada with them!

Below are some pictures that Dylan took!
